If you are a fan Utes and Coupe Utilities, surely you have a favorite classic one. My favorite is the nimble, economical, tariff snubbing Subaru B.R.A.T. (Bi-drive Recreational All-terrain Transport), aka Brumby.

Front wheel drive when you want it, 4wd when you need it.

When the US Government said !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , Subaru said, "No U" with 2 rear facing plastic seats and joystick "OH SH*T" handles to help keep you from bouncing around.

This bantamweight coupe utility, along with all other Utes, just were ahead of their time in this country. Right now, the current regulatory environment is one of the largest obstacles for them to be sold in the US, with CAFE standards and the obsolete Chicken Tax dealing a one-two knockout punch.

Frankly that is the most practical donk I have ever seen. Shame a ute had to be tortured into this though.

My friend had a 83 or 84 Dodge Rampage and we DESTROYED it. I loved that car more that he did, he hated it.

It was ugly as hell but it was wonderful. I have been eying them on eBay lately.
